Extras
| The files in the Extras folder are provided
as-is. They worked for me once in Squeak 2.7, but not other guarantee is
provided. Your best bet for finding the most up-to-date versions of these
is to check the Squeak Swiki.

(In several cases, the documentation says to download specific files.
But in most cases, I've already downloaded all the files into the
directory for the tool.)
- BOOST (Basic Object-Oriented Support Tool) (
http://www.gvu.gatech.edu/edtech/BOOST/home.html ) is provided on the
CD, supporting basic UML class design and CRC card analysis in Java.

- TGEN is an automatic parser generator
for Squeak. Manual is provided in Postscript. Posted to Squeak List. tgen.zip
- MathMorphs: http://mathmorphs.swiki.net) is an
amazing tool for exploring mathematics with Squeak. File in
MW27.26.cs to get started. Functions2.2.29Jan1118pm.cs is a
very powerful function plotter. Graph.9Octo736pm.cs provides Graph
math structures. Permission to include MathMorphs and FunctionPlotter on
the CD came from Andres Valloud (sqrmax@prodigy.net), Gerardo Richarte

- LindaTalk is a port to Squeak of
the Linda port from VisualWorks. Linda is a parallel programming
environment. Permission to include LindaTalk came from Rob Withers
(slosher2@home.com) and Marcio Marchini (mqm@magma.ca). The LindaTalk work
was possible thanks to the EDUGRAF lab and Professor Luiz Fernando Bier

- Prototypes is A prototype-based object system implemented in
Squeak. Permission to include granted by Hans-Martin Mosner

- MuSwiki is a
collaboration support for general morphs, developed by Stephen "Lex"
Spoon. Permission to include granted by Lex Spoon.
- Comanche: Comanche is the
successor to PWS, built into Squeak. Comanche (by Bolot Kerimbaev) and
Comanche Swiki (by Jochen "Je77" Rick) are included on the disk in
UnknownLegend.zip (and .tar.gz).

- Prolog is a port of Mike Teng's
Prolog compiler for Squeak by Bolot Kerimbaev, who gave permission to

- IWin (I Want It Now!) is an Instant Messaging client, supporting
AOL and ICQ protocols by Dean "Dino" Mao, who gave permission to

- I-Scream is an audio chat tool
by Brian Payne and Jonathan Greene who gave permission for it to be
included. It was the basis for the audio chat tool later included in BadgeMorphs.
- Lisp is a Lisp port to Squeak. (Posted to Squeak List.) lisp.zip
- Refactoring Browser is a powerful new browser that makes it
possible to move responsibilities easily between classes. (Bob Hartwig

- ThingLab-v2 is the original
constraint system, ThingLab, ported to Squeak. (Note: This changes
things fairly deeply in the system, so you may want to put this in its

- AudioExplorer is a
